- Deploy one read-only role. A CloudFormation template creates
HetOpsRadarReadOnly, which can list and describe versions and nothing else. - Paste its ARN. Radar assumes the role with your private external id and runs the first scan straight away.
- Get told when it matters. New or worse findings arrive by email, or in Slack on Pro, with the date, the AWS source and what it costs.

What Radar can and cannot touch
- Eleven read-only actions:
Describe*andList*on the six services, plusec2:DescribeRegions. No data, no secrets, no writes. - The role trusts only the HetOps account, and only with your external id, so nobody else can use Radar to reach it.
- Short-lived credentials: each scan assumes the role for at most an hour.
- The scanner is open source; its tests assert it only calls list and describe.
- Delete the stack and access ends that second.
